To buy Boots Longstay Travel Insurance:

  • You must have your main home in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands and have not spent more than six months abroad in the year before buying this policy.
  • You must not have already started your trip.
  • You are not over 55 years of age.
  • As with any insurance there are certain exclusions, including claims due to a medical condition or illness that was known about at the time of taking out your policy or booking your trip whichever is later, unless already declared to us and accepted in writing.
  • Cover is not provided for travel to areas where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have advised against all but essential travel.
  • Cover is not provided for cruising or winter sports unless the appropriate extension has been selected and additional premium has been paid.
  • All Boots online customers are eligible for a 15% discount. All you have to do is select the ‘Get quote’ button and enter your personal and trip details.

Add activity packs: If you’re looking to surf, take part in some zorbing or even some heli-skiing, make sure you have the right level of cover. With our Activity Packs, you pay an additional premium when it comes to the Options page of your quote and select the Activity Pack you require.

Add force majeure cover: We hope you never need it but you can get extra peace of mind by adding trip disruption cover to your travel insurance. This specialist insurance covers you against things like natural catastrophe or your travel operator going into insolvency, ensuring that your holiday isn’t ruined. This cover is available for an additional premium on our Longstay Silver product.
