At Boots, we recognise that sometimes it is unnecessarily difficult to find cover for your upcoming trip if you have had cancer, so we’ve created a policy for our customers which doesn’t just take into account your baggage and cancellation, but also medical cover for your condition too.

Please note we will consider any medical condition, so it’s not just those mentioned on our medical pages – you can still get a quote on your individual medical condition. To buy Boots Travel Insurance:

    • You must have your main home in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands and have not spent more than six months abroad in the year before buying this policy.
    • You must not have already started your trip.
    • We have no upper age limit on our single trip policies.

Cover is not provided for:

  • Claims due to a medical condition or illness that was known about at the time of taking out your policy or booking your trip whichever is later, unless already declared to us and accepted in writing.
  • Travel to areas where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have advised against all but essential travel.
  • Cruising or winter sports unless the policy extension has been chosen and additional premium has been paid.
