Cancer Travel Insurance

At Boots, we want to offer travel insurance at an affordable premium to all our customers, including those with medical conditions like cancer. So, Boots Travel Insurance have created a specialist cancer travel insurance policy.

Boots Travel Insurance have created a range of travel insurance policies with a bespoke medical screening system which means your travel insurance policy is tailored exactly to your medical situation – no matter what stage of cancer you have, how far into treatment you may be and we will even consider travel insurance for customers that are still undergoing treatment.

When you fill in your personal details on our quote process, you will be prompted to declare any pre-existing medical conditions. This is when you should declare any previous medical history of cancer, and we will ask a set of questions based on your condition and individual medical situation. These questions allow us to accurately assess your medical condition and provide you with an appropriate premium.

Important information

• Cover is not provided for claims due to a medical condition or illness that was known about at the time of taking out your policy or booking your trip, whichever is later, unless all conditions have been declared to us and cover accepted by us in writing.
• Cover is not provided for travel to areas where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have advised against all but essential travel.
• If you have a very serious or complex medical condition, we may not always be able to cover you for your first choice holiday destination, however there may be other alternative destinations where cover is available, so please ask.
