To buy Boots single trip travel insurance:

  • You must have your main home in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands and have not spent more than six months abroad in the year before buying this policy.
  • You must not have already started your trip.
  • We have no upper age limit on our single trip policies.

Cover is not provided for:

  • Claims due to a medical condition or illness that was known about at the time of taking out your policy or booking your trip whichever is later, unless already declared to us and accepted in writing.
  • Travel to areas where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have advised against all but essential travel.
  • Cruising or winter sports unless the policy extension has been chosen and additional premium has been paid.
  • All online customers are eligible for a 15% discount. All you have to do is select the ‘Get quote’ button and enter your personal and trip details.

Family or single parent policies

  • You must provide details of qualifying children to be covered. Children will be covered subject to the terms and conditions of the Boots Travel Insurance policy.
  • Includes children, step children, foster children or adopted children of you or your spouse or partner (as long as you and your partner live together).
  • Children must be aged under 18 at the date you buy the policy and either in full time education or living with you or your spouse/partner.
  • There is no limit to the number of children who can be covered at no extra cost, provided these children meet the criteria above.

Add force majeure cover: We hope you never need it but you can get extra peace of mind by adding trip disruption cover to your travel insurance from as little as £19.63* extra per person. This specialist insurance covers you against things like natural catastrophe or your travel operator going into insolvency, ensuring that your holiday isn’t ruined. Boots travel insurance Force Majeure cover is included as standard on Silver, Gold and Platinum policies. It can be purchased at an additional premium on Bronze policies. Force Majeure cover is not available on Lite policies.

Add gadget cover: Cover for your gadgets whilst you are away on holiday, whether it’s your smartphone, tablet, e-reader or laptop, this cover protects your pocket should your gadgets become lost, stolen or damaged. This specialist cover is included as standard on our Gold and Platinum policies and can be added to our Bronze and Silver policies for an additional premium of £30.11, giving you that essential peace of mind whilst you travel.

Add activity packs: You can extend your cover to insure you for activities such as trekking, surfing, cage diving and even zorbing. Take a look at our Activity Packs and select the one relevant to the sports and activities you will be doing on your trip.
