If you prefer to stay home rather than away, you can also use your Multi-Trip travel insurance for travel in the UK for three nights or more as long as you have paid for your accommodation and transport in advance of your departure.

To buy Boots Multi-Trip travel insurance:

  • You must have your main home in the United Kingdom or the Channel Islands and have not spent more than six months abroad in the year before buying this policy.
  • Multi-Trip travel insurance is available for UK residents who are under 79 years of age on the date of purchase.
  • As with any insurance there are certain exclusions, including claims due to a medical condition or illness that was known about at the time of taking out your policy or booking your trip whichever is later.
  • Cover is not provided for travel to areas where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have advised against all but essential travel.

Add wintersports cover: Sloping off for a skiing trip? Why not add Winter sports cover for up to 17 days to your travel insurance for an additional premium. This policy add-on includes cover for your wintersports equipment, cover should an avalanche occur and cover should you turn up to ski and there is no snow.

Add force majeure cover: We hope you never need it but you can get extra peace of mind by adding trip disruption cover to your travel insurance from as little as £29.57* extra per person. This specialist insurance covers you against things like natural catastrophe or your travel operator going into insolvency, ensuring that your holiday isn’t ruined. Boots travel insurance Force Majeure cover is included as standard on Silver, Gold and Platinum policies. It can be purchased at an additional premium on Bronze policies. Force Majeure cover is not available on Lite policies.

Add gadget cover: Cover for your gadgets whilst you are away on holiday, whether it’s your smartphone, tablet, e-reader or laptop, this cover protects your pocket should your gadgets become lost, stolen or damaged. This specialist cover is included as standard on our Gold and Platinum policies and can be added to our Bronze and Silver policies from just £36 for the entire year, giving you that essential peace of mind whilst you travel.
